wonderful Marine Life at the Maui Ocean Center...
When the Hawaiian Islands were forming the marine life that
flourished originally migrated from the Indo Pacific area. They had to travel to Hawaii on
the currents while in their larvae stage. Animals with short larvae stages (like fan
coral, clown fish, and giant sea anemone) did not make it to Hawaii. Once the marine life
made it to Hawaii many endemic varieties of species immerged and are not found anywhere
else in the world. Enjoy a SCUBA divers view without getting wet...
